Building and Infrastructure Division Elections

It is not too early to begin thinking about electing new Directors to the Board of the SPE Building and Infrastructure Division. Four Directors will be elected. All terms are 3-year terms beginning July 1, 2025.

Board meetings are open to all division members and all members are encouraged to become active to learn more about the division and how you might want to serve.

If you are interested in being elected, please send a photo, brief bio, and candidate statement to Mark Barger. The candidate statement should include how you would like to influence the Division and what activities you find most compelling.

The deadline for submissions is March 1, 2025.

Per the bylaws, candidates for Director must be a member in good standing of the Division. Upon election, the Director will be expected to attend all board meetings (mostly virtual) unless excused by the Chair. Directors should take active roles on the board including committee activities.

Candidates for Councilor must be a member of the Division Board of Directors and must have served no less than one full term on the Board. The Councilor is expected to actively represent the interests of the Division and SPE as a whole. The Councilor should liaise between the council and the Division members.
